How Wild Ember Was Born
Wild Ember began long before it had a name.
It started as ANM Health LLC: something that was meant to be a place to practice, to enjoy the work, and to build something meaningful alongside community. What began as a small idea quickly grew into something larger than we ever anticipated.
Ashleigh’s dad was one of the driving forces behind that growth. He encouraged Ashleigh and Marc to take the leap, to believe in what they were building, and to trust that meaningful work would find its way forward. His steady belief in them helped shape the foundation of the practice from the very beginning.
As the practice was growing, Ashleigh and Marc became the primary caregivers for her dad as he fought stage IV lung cancer. For 18 months, they walked alongside him through treatment, setbacks, resilience, and hope. He passed away in October 2025, after a courageous and determined fight.
He was the fire that guided their family- steady, strong, and full of warmth.
When that fire turned to ash, it did not leave emptiness behind.
It left embers.
Wild, bright, and still burning.
Those embers became Wild Ember.
For Ashleigh and Marc, Wild Ember is the continuation of that spark. It represents what remains after loss- the quiet strength, the warmth, and the light that can still be shared with others. It is a reminder that even in the hardest seasons, something within us endures.
Wild Ember is a space where hope can glow again- quietly, steadily, and authentically. It reflects the evolution of the practice and the people behind it: grounded, resilient, and continually transforming.
Wild Ember is a tribute to Ashleigh’s dad, and a place rooted in compassion, strength, and renewal- for those navigating their own journeys of healing.

Hope does not always arrive loudly.
Sometimes, it begins as an ember: still glowing, still alive, ready to rise.
